Sounds alot like......Us!
People ask all thge time what kind of music we play and
I don't have a good answer. Its hard to pigeonhole this
band into one specific genre. I guess the closest label
would be Americana/Alt-Country. We are all music lovers
of all types, and influenced by many bands, singers,
writers & genres. I believe we are a steaming hot gumbo
of all that. We definitley ramble the county line
between Alt-Country and Rock. We have been compared to
The Band with some Allman Brothers/Grateful Dead flavor.
So, that being said, I'd love to hear your opinion. You
tell me what or who you think we sound like. Give us a
listen, soak it in & let us know.

| After taking a twenty-five year hiatus from the
glitz, glam and grind of music, singer Freddy Fickle
decided it was time to start making noise again. After
reconciling with guitarist T-Money, O.J.W. Re-emerged
with a vengeance. The music is indescribable attitude
theatrics and elements of Broadway. Introducing O.J.W. |

| Well, Unfortunately one of the bands is no longer
together. We're working on getting another band to fill
this spot. Stay tuned for an update. |

Philpot
 |
Philpot sprouted from a flower shop in Dugger, Indiana
(pop. 955), a town without a stoplight. In this
blink-and-you'll-miss-it rural setting a couple of hours
southwest of Indianapolis, Philpot front man Kentz Ward
toils by day among the blossoms and, by night, is joined
by his five band mates, who grow their, by turns,
rocking, bluesy, and emotive music inside the musical
laboratory of the shop. Hard rocking but
melodic, Philpot is anchored by Caleb Smith and Josh
Kennedy’s deeply layered wall of guitars, AJ Boone's
ambient keyboards, and the propulsive rhythm section of
Arthur Ready and Tyler Evans. Kentz Ward’s growling
vocals -- and brooding, pugilistic (yet hopeful) --
lyrics complete the tapestry.

In the spring of 08' Jeff Randall decided to put a
band together only for the purpose of playing a few
shows. " i had no intention of making this a long term
relationship, but after playing a couple of shows it was
apparent to me and to everyone else, that there was
something there." After solidifying the line up the band
landed themselves a few opening slots for a couple of
national acts. " To be honest I think we stole the
shows." We dont pretend to be anything other than what
we are. When we go play a show, we are there to make
some noise and move people." added Raisner. After a few
more shows throughout 2008 the band decided to head into
"The Studio" in Scottland, Illinois to record a few
songs. During a phone interview last week Randall
explained the process. " We went in to record about
twelve songs. At the end of day three we had recorded
fifteen or more. By the end of the year we had twenty
songs recorded. We all enjoy the studio, but for me its
all about playing live. I wanted to be a band that I
would want to see. To me it about being moved, being
rocked, being rolled, escaping, sweating, sincerity and
love. If someone doesn't feel any of those emotions then
to me, we arent doing our job. Evertime we play it can
go anywhere , but whats important to me is where it ends
up. I want to people to walk away and have felt
something, to me thats when I know we did our job and to
be honest, we do it everytime.'

The Fire Spinners (Actually only one of them)
We had them light the bonfire at the 2008 Lower T
Jamboree and everyone thought that it was pretty cool.
Caleb Petticrew will be doing the honors this year. |

"Lloyd Michaels and Bluetown" are setting the trend for
contemporary electric blues. The band is made up of
seasoned musicians with over a 100 years of combined
live and studio experience, and a combined total of five
albums being released throughout their musical careers.
With all members having deep roots in the blues genre,
their combined love of contemporary blues has created a
tight knit sound that has created quite a buzz in the
midwest blues community. Lloyd Michaels and Bluetown's
sound is driven by clean, just on the edge,
instrumentation and powerful throaty vocals. Their sets
consist of many original numbers and covers of the great
artists such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Bonnie
Raitt, and many other great blues musicians. Look for
Lloyd Michaels and Bluetown at a show near you. If blues
is your poison, you need not look any farther for your
fix!
