Don’t forget that you can camp.

September 8th, 2008

There are places that you can set up a tent away from the area where the bands are playing. There’s also a few spaces for RV’s or travel trailers, but it’s limited on the amount we can squeeze in. I know several people have talked about setting up a tents just to make their experience last that much longer and it also takes away the chances of getting a DUI or other unfortunate events. If you are wanting to set up a tent, you can come out in the morning or even on Friday just so that you won’t have to miss any of the music.

Carpool if you can…

September 8th, 2008

We have a pretty big field to park cars in, but from the feedback that we are getting it looks like there is a possibilty that we might run it out of space. If you can, carpool so that we can pack as many people as we can in to the Jamboree. Thanks.

Bus Rides Home

September 8th, 2008

We are finalizing the details, but it looks like we will have bus rides back in to town to take you home or to a local motel. Michelle Ball of Ball Transportation is working out the final details on everything for us. Thanks Michelle.

Guitar Raffle

August 19th, 2008

Guitar RaffleDanny Postlewait of the Javelinas and TJ “Dirt Eye” Johnson stopped by and talked to the Conservatory of Music in Terre Haute, Indiana and they donated a guitar for us to raffle off at the Jamboree. The guitar is a Peavey Generation EXP electric. We are thinking that it will be $1 a chance or 6 for $5. It’s a nice addition for the fundraiser and was something that wasn’t expected at all. There’s talk of putting a Lower T Jamboree logo on the back and seeing if the all the musicians that are playing this years event will sign it on the back. What do you think? Good idea?

Logo Decals Available

June 20th, 2008

Lower T Logo We have logos available that ONP Signs can print out and cut for us. The attached picture is what we came up with. The white is cut off of the graphic and you can then stick it on the back window of you vehicle to spread the word about the event. We are thinking about printing the date on it or cutting it out of colored vinyl so that it can be changed to reflect each years date. They can be made just about any size, but the ones that we have done at the moment are about 6″ x 6″. What do you think about the logo? I’m also thinking about putting the D.O. it! Edgar County Cancer Support Group logo on it too, just to show what it is for. You can contact ONP Signs either through their website (http://www.onpsigns.com) or through email (mailto:sales@onpsigns.com).

I think that I have all the bugs worked out of the blog. Let me know in a comment if you either have some problem with it or even if you don’t like it at all and think I should remove it from the site.

Thanks.
